Frequently Asked Questions

How much mulch do I need?
For a 2-inch layer, plan on 1 cubic yard covering about 150 square feet. Call us with your square footage and we’ll size it for you.
How quickly can you deliver?
Most orders go out same-day or next-day. Larger jobs or slinger placement may need 2–3 days of lead time depending on schedule.
What’s the difference between Medium and Dark Fine bark mulch?
Medium Fir is our practical workhorse — durable, naturally colored, stays put in the wind. Dark Fine is finer, darker, peat-like, and built for high-end visual impact in showcase beds.
Can you deliver if I’m not home?
Yes for bulk drops — just mark the spot we can dump to. For slinger placement we prefer you on-site so you can direct the operator.
Do you do contractor accounts?
Yes — for businesses buying 200 cubic yards or more annually, we set up a contractor rate. Call us to get on the contractor program.
What about wholesale?
If you’re reselling our products, we’ll set you up at the wholesale rate. Call us with your business details.
When’s the best time to apply mulch on the Island?
Late spring after the soil has warmed is ideal for feeding gardens. Fall application protects roots through winter. We’re delivering year-round.
